Frispel was founded in 1997 and has
since the start frequently performed at festivals,
in churches, schools and larger concert halls in
Sweden as well in Europe.
Their artistic drive, to renew both the medieval and folk music repertoire, makes them unique in their sound through their musical new interpretations. In addition to pure concert programs, the group has projects with orchestra, several educational
workshops, educational programs for school,
historical themes for church etc.
